Turkish Education Levels for Foreigners (CEFR)
Turkish A1 Level (Beginner)
The introductory stage to Turkish. Students learn the alphabet and daily expressions to meet basic needs.
- Introducing oneself, greetings, telling numbers and time.
- Establishing simple dialogues needed when shopping, at a restaurant, or using transportation.
- Introduction to present continuous and simple present tense structures.
Turkish A2 Level
The level where past and future tense concepts are introduced, and routine communication becomes more detailed.
